Rejoice!

Here are some reasons why you should have apple cider vinegar in your home - I'll admit that I think it tastes really gross, & my main use for it is for making bone broth. But it is so good for you!

Here is an interesting read - 5 bizarre home remedies.

& this has nothing to do with natural health, but this is where my mind has been during this season - I wrote the following yesterday. I pray that our Lord speaks to you this Christmas & that you grow in faith & experience Him in a new way.

I think most people have heard of "Advent," if nothing more than having that advent calendar in their living room that counts down to Christmas. We celebrate Advent ("coming") as we recognize that Jesus came in the form of a baby, God on earth, wrapped in flesh, all for the purpose of dying on the cross to be the atonement that makes it possible for us, in our sin & ugly, to be reunited with God - now in Spirit, & one day in Person. But we also celebrate Advent knowing that Jesus is coming again. He's not coming next time as a baby, but as LORD, as all-powerful, the one who will shake the earth & make the kings & leaders of all nations fall to their knees. It will either be glorious or it will be terrifying; each of us have the choice on which side we fall - but He IS coming back. This gives me hope in a world that is so sad, broken, & painful - He is coming back soon.

O come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Rod of Jesse, free
Thine own from Satan's tyranny
From depths of Hell Thy people save
And give them victory o'er the grave
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Day-Spring, come and cheer
Our spirits by Thine advent here
Disperse the gloomy clouds of night
And death's dark shadows put to flight.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, Thou Key of David, come,
And open wide our heavenly home;
Make safe the way that leads on high,
And close the path to misery.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel.

O come, O come, Thou Lord of might,
Who to Thy tribes, on Sinai's height,
In ancient times did'st give the Law,
In cloud, and majesty and awe.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel

Shall come to thee, O Israel.
