Health Benefits of Jasmine Green Tea

I have always been a fan of green tea. And I’m sort of extremely picky about tea. I usually only drink black tea that is very strong. It’s so dark it looks like coffee. None of that weak junk or fruity flavors. I agree with the British, Americans don’t know how to drink their tea. BUT I will bend for green tea. Why? Because of it’s amazing health benefits!

I personally feel that jasmine green tea is the absolute best. The addition of Jasmine pedals in the tea adds such a wonderful flavor, aroma, and it is SO good for your body AND mind.

Did you know that just the aroma of Jasmine is therapeutic? It has been shown that simply inhaling Jasmine can decrease heart rate, reduce stress, nerves and anxiety. So make a cup of tea and inhale as you drink.

Green Tea has the highest concentration of antioxidants of any tea. Antioxidants fight free radicals, which are basically toxins that can kill cells. Free radicals can cause health problems, speed up the aging process, and can cause cancer and heart disease. The antioxidants can help prevent this damage.

Green tea lowers cholesterol.

It can help prevent against all types of cancers.

It helps with weight loss, digestion, and help the symptoms of colds and flu.

I try to drink this daily to gain the most benefits from it. Obviously, if you want to drink it daily, be smart about it. If you are taking daily medications or have severe health problems, just check and make sure that green tea is ok to drink along with it. It IS a powerful herb.
